Evidence of Christianity (starts Dec 6, 2020)

Location: Grace Church in Middleburg Heights, OH

Sunday at 10:30 AM

Room: 10

Teacher: David Wilkinson

In our increasingly secular culture, the truth of Christianity is no longer taken for granted. Furthermore, it doesn’t make sense for us to believe in a religion if it is not true. After all, Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:17 “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” How do we really know that Jesus is alive? How do we know that God exists? In this class, we will be exploring the most cutting-edge research by philosophers, historians, and scientists on the existence of God and the resurrection of Jesus. We will also talk about some of the most difficult questions about Christianity. For example, if God exists, then why is there so much suffering in the world? Did Jesus really claim to be God? Or did the early Christians make that up after the fact? All this and more when we dive head-first into the evidence for Christianity.
